A fire-resistant door, classified EI₂60 – C5, with a thermal break.
Millennium RF is the only door in the set of systems examined here that handles fire compartmentation. It is classified EI₂60 – C5: 60 minutes of fire resistance, with integrity and insulation, plus a self-closing device verified over 200,000 cycles.
The resistance comes from the insulating materials in the chamber of the profiles and from the expanding, biosoluble intumescent gaskets fitted around the glass. The system takes junctions with fixed lights, panic hardware, automatic closers and handles or hinges approved for the fire situation.
It is the only data sheet in the whole set written in Romanian.
Flush, square profiles of 80 mm section and 2.2 mm thickness, with a 35 mm thermal break. The 60 minutes of fire resistance are obtained through the insulating materials in the chamber of the profiles and through the intumescent gaskets around the glass.

The CORTIZO data sheet contains an internal inconsistency: the descriptive text gives a heat transfer value of 1.1 W/m²K and a maximum glazing space of 56 mm, while the technical table on the second page gives “Uw from 1.4 W/m²K” and 48 mm. We publish the values from the technical table. For a project in which this difference matters, we ask the manufacturer for written confirmation before quoting.
The thermal transmittance values published by CORTIZO are minimum values for the system, conditional on the typology, on the dimensions of the joinery and on the glazing unit. The actual value of an assembly is established by calculation, on the configuration actually ordered.

What we do with this system
Choosing the configuration
The system offers a range; the project asks for a value. We settle the version, the glazing unit and the typology from the actual requirements of the building, not from the maximum on the data sheet.
Calculation on the actual assembly
The transmittance of a window depends on the frame-to-glass ratio. We calculate it on the actual dimensions of the openings, not on the laboratory specimen.
Our own production
Cutting, machining, assembly and glazing in our own workshop in Baia Mare, on original CORTIZO profile and with hardware approved for the system.
Installation and handover
We install with our own teams, including abroad, and hand the job over with its documents. The warranty is the one published on our warranties page.
