Entrance doors tested to a million cycles, in three systems: 70 mm, 80 mm and pivot.
An entrance door is not judged by the same criteria as a window. What counts is how many openings the hardware will take, how it behaves under a soft-body impact and how hard it is to force. Millennium Plus is tested on exactly these three counts.
The two side-hung versions, 70 and 80 mm, are tested to 1,000,000 opening and closing cycles to UNE-EN 1191 and classified RC2 for burglar resistance. The pivot version follows a different logic: a leaf of up to 2,100 mm wide and 250 kg, turning about an axis.
All three allow automatic operation or, in the case of the pivot door, operation on its axis; the exact configuration is settled at design stage.

The 70 mm version. The only one in the family that also allows double-action opening, with 1 and 2 leaves. The data sheet also declares a security test passed.

The data sheet for this system declares no sound insulation value.
The thermal transmittance values published by CORTIZO are minimum values for the system, conditional on the typology, on the dimensions of the joinery and on the glazing unit. The actual value of an assembly is established by calculation, on the configuration actually ordered.

Choosing the configuration
The system offers a range; the project asks for a value. We settle the version, the glazing unit and the typology from the actual requirements of the building, not from the maximum on the data sheet.
Calculation on the actual assembly
The transmittance of a window depends on the frame-to-glass ratio. We calculate it on the actual dimensions of the openings, not on the laboratory specimen.
Our own production
Cutting, machining, assembly and glazing in our own workshop in Baia Mare, on original CORTIZO profile and with hardware approved for the system.
Installation and handover
We install with our own teams, including abroad, and hand the job over with its documents. The warranty is the one published on our warranties page.
