The door version of the 88 mm platform, for houses whose envelope is designed as a whole and where the door must not be left as the weak point.
The deep rebate takes panels of up to 58 mm, so thick insulating panels or triple glazing, and the thermally broken threshold is available in several versions, according to requirements.
The Uf values Kömmerling publishes are values of the profile, not of the installed window. The transmittance of an assembly (Uw) depends on the frame-to-glass ratio, on the glazing unit chosen and on the spacer used, and is established by calculation, on the actual dimensions of the opening.

Certifications and testing
The CSTB documents we have found for Kömmerling profiles cover windows and French windows. The entrance door is a different typology and does not fall within their scope.
What we cannot demonstrate for this system
We have not found a DTA, an Avis Technique or a CSTB certificate issued for Kömmerling PVC entrance doors. The documents identified for the 70 and 76 mm platforms are issued for the family “Fenêtre à la française, oscillo battante ou à soufflet en PVC” and cover windows and French windows, not entrance doors.
We do not assign the window’s certification to the door merely because they use the same profile platform. The door has a different sash, a different threshold, different hardware and different tests.
The burglar resistance classes mentioned in the manufacturer’s sales documentation are achieved on a fully tested assembly — profile, reinforcement, hardware, glazing, fixing. For a job that calls for a particular class, we settle and document it before ordering.
What we can demonstrate for PVC doors is the technical data of the profile, published by Kömmerling and reproduced in the table above. Any certification of the assembly is obtained separately, on the actual configuration.

Choosing the version
The system offers a range; the project asks for a value. We settle the profile version, the glazing unit and the typology starting from the actual requirements of the building.
Calculation on the actual assembly
Uf is the value of the profile. The Uw of the window depends on the frame-to-glass ratio and we calculate it on the actual dimensions of the openings.
Hardware matched to the system
We work with hardware approved for the system. The burglar resistance class is achieved only with the matching hardware and build, not from the profile alone.
Installation and handover
We install with our own teams and hand the job over with its documents. The warranty is the one published on our warranties page.
